Details for 2022.

 

Thank you for your patience whilst we've deliberated and worked out how we'll be proceeding with the Wreath between now and 2025.

We are planning many events over the next few years, so please keep looking at the site.

For this year and onwards we are inviting people/Organisations to apply to have the Wreath at their event.... The criteria is that the event must be Military; Remembrance and Respect related. We feel it is vital, in order to preserve the dignity of the Wreath and the spirit and ethos in which it was conceived that it is not used for commercialism or as a publicity tool for Commercial or Profit Making Organisations. This doesn't preclude such organisations having the Wreath provided the criteria previously stated is met. For this reason all applications will be viewed and considered and a decision as to whether the event meets the criteria will be made based on this. We have also decided the Wreath will only attend 1 event a month or in exceptional circumstances, 2 (eg 2 applications which are equally meritorious being received for the same month).

The Wreath will be attending events in April; July and November & possibly May however consideration will be given to other requests for these months.
The website and FB Page will be updated in advance with the Wreaths Diary and whether or not the event it is attending is open to the public or not
When not attending an event the Wreath will be on view, it is also a Braille translation of the Exhortation shown on the Wreath available should anyone require it.
