Wreath of Respect at the Birmingham Tattoo 2018

The Wreath of Respect took part in the Birmingham International Tattoo on Saturday 24th November 2018 and Sunday 25th November 2018.

​

There was over 30 riders taking part in the remembrance service of respect and to remember the fallen and continued forces personnel and families across the world. The Wreath of Respect was honored to be part of this prestigious event. After weeks of rehearsals and training and also giving up their time and energy for this most worthy event in the heart of Birmingham.

​

The Team of riders and the Wreath of Respect was part of over 40,000 personnel and members of the public. Also taking part and Sharing the arena with the musicians during the three-hour family event, were the Royal Air Force Cosford Queen’s Colour, Wreath of Respect Riders, the United Kingdom Disco Display Team and the Parade of Massed Standards and much more.

​

This year’s event culminated in a Spectacular Grand Finale featuring the Massed Bands and special vocalist guest appearances. The event would not be complete without the popular Closing Ceremony of the Royal Air Force Cosford Queen’s Colour and Escort, the traditional Land of Hope and Glory, the Evening Hymn and the Lone Piper.
